I believe it works that way by default, unless you have used the
--disable-extdicts in configure switches of the static voikko. At
least I've been providing such version and it seems to pick up
additional languages outside the included extras as well, using the
default search paths.

You can probably turn on VOIKKO_DEBUG for plugin or use strace or dtruss
to verify this. Unless you use windows version in which case there's no
obvious way to debug anything.
